The animated series The Proud Family, is an excellent way of displaying the life of a teenage girl in today's society. The problems that Penny Proud face, I have to face also, along with other teenagers. Penny Proud's family consist of an over-protective father, a fairly interesting mother, sweet and sour twin siblings, and an out-going, fun and lovable grandmother. The family seems really dysfunctional; however, that is were the humor kicks in. With all the different personalities floating around in the family, it's amazing to see them all live under one roof. Along with the crazy and lovable family, are the friends of Penny Proud. Dijonay Jones, Penny's best friend; LaCienega Boulevardez, popular, but not all always a friend; Sticky Webb, a cool and smooth guy; and then, there is Zoey, the total opposite of cool, but cool. The Proud Family is a show I recommend for the whole family. There is always a lesson learned from watching the show. This fantasy world is no different from the real world.
