Ice Cube and company picked an excellent selection of old school songs for the "Old School: Next Friday Soundtrack." This CD has an array of old school funk jams on it. I have this movie on DVD and I'm glad that I was able to get all the old school songs on one CD instead of having to buy all the different greatest hits compilations or the separate CDs of each of these artists. My personal favorites on this CD are Con Funk Shun's "Chase Me", Gap Band's "You Dropped The Bomb On Me", Mtume's "Juicy Fruit", Tyrone Davis' "In The Mood", and Faze-O's "Riding High". Also, for any hip hop fans you get Whodini's "Friends" which is definitely a hip hop classic. Owning this CD is a must for an old school music fan like me, especially if you don't have these songs in your CD collection.
